Israeli government meets on Peres' report

In its weekly session held on Sunday, the Israeli government discussed the initiative proposed by the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres concerning negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.
The Israeli government also discussed the question of reforms in the Palestinian Authority.
On the other hand, officials at the office of the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon consider that there is no possibility for giving a push forward the negotiations with the Palestinian authority while its chairman Yasser Arafat is there. The Israeli radio reported.
