Tombs unearthed in Alexandria
Egypt, History, 5/17/2002
The Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) mission working at Moustafa Kamel archeological area in Alexandria managed to unearth rock-hewn tombs dating back to the Ptolemaic era.
Zahi Hawass, SCA Secretary-General, allocated a sum of L.E. 60,000 for sustaining excavations in the site.
