Ruler of Qatar to Ivory Coast, several agreements signed

The ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani has commended the stances taken by the Arab states with the African states especially regarding the Arab- Israeli conflict.
In statements to the press upon his arrival in Abeidjian, the ruler of Qatar stressed the Arab states try to develop its relations with the African states, especially Qatar.
Sheikh Hamad, on the other hand, held a round of talks with President Laurent Ghabaghbo of the Ivory Coast on Thursday evening. The meeting was attended by members of the delegation accompanying Sheikh Hamad, and the "Ivory" side was attended by senior high ranking officials concerned.
In conclusion of the meeting the ruler of Qatar and the Ivory Coast President witnessed the signed of a memorandum of understanding between the foreign ministry of Qatar and the Ivory Coast minister of state ( the foreign ministry). An agreement in economic, trade and technical cooperation was also signed.
Sheikh Hamad arrived in Abidjan earlier in the day in a visit to the Ivory Coast, which will last for two days. Upon his arrival there he was welcomed by President of the Ivory Coast and officials concerned.
