Saudi contacts to convince Hamas to end resistance

The Palestinian al-Ayad ( days) daily issued in the occupied Palestinian territories said that contacts are being made between Palestinian and Saudi officials with the aim to arrange a meeting between representatives for the Palestinian Authority and officials at the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement under the patronage of Saudi Arabia.
The paper expected, according to the Israeli radio on Wednesday, the meeting to be held in Cairo within the few coming days.
The paper indicated that this meeting aims at convincing Hamas movement to stop resistance.
