President Ciampi of Italy arrives in Morocco

President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi of Italy arrived in Rabat Tuesday for an official visit to Morocco at the invitation of King Mohammed VI. He was given a red-carpet welcome by King Mohammed VI at Mechouar Square in downtown Rabat.President Ciampi accompanied by a delegation including parliament and government officials.
President Ciampi, who is accompanied by his spouse Ms Franca Ciampi, was greeted upon arrival by Moroccan foreign affairs and cooperation minister Mohamed Benaissa.
