The Moroccan nine-day handicraft and tourism festival in the French southern city of Marseille kicked off Monday.
The event was dedicated by Moroccan minister of social economy, SMEs and handicraft, Mohammed Lahlimi and Marseille mayor, senator Jean-Claude Gaudin.
Several French deputies attended the opening ceremony of the festival, and a huge number of visitors came to see the beautiful products exhibited under a dozen of traditional tents as a traditional Gnawa band entertained visitors.
The same display knew a great success in other French cities, namely Dijon, Toulouse and Lyon.
