Islamic Jihad: No change in the Syrian position concerning martyrdom operations

The leader of the Islamic Jihad movement Ramadan Abdullah Shalah said that he was not told about any change in the Syrian position regarding the "Martyrdom" operations. He renewed commitment to all forms of resistance including the " martyrdom operations," according to the London- based al-Hayat daily.
Al-Hayat, on the other hand, quoted a Syrian source as saying that there was no decrease to Damascus' position at the Sharm Esh Sheikh summit towards the political support given to the legitimate resistance of the Palestinian people.
