Jordanian- Afghani talks

The Afghani foreign minister Abdullah Abdullah has criticized the decision taken by the Israeli Likud Party which rejects the establishment of a Palestinian state.
He added that such an Israeli decision is not the ultimate end, referring the UN resolutions and agreements pertinent to this issue. Minister Abdullah underlined the importance of continued international efforts in order to establish peace in the region.
Following his talks with the Jordanian minister of state for foreign affairs and acting foreign minister Shaher Baak, the Afghani minister commended the stances taken by the Arab states and their support to Afghanistan and to the Afghani people. He stressed that his country's relations with the Arab states are good and should be developed and promoted.
The Afghani minister added that his talks with minister Baak dealt with bilateral relations and the situation in the region and in Afghanistan, adding that these talks were good and constructive.
For his part, Shaher Baak described relations with Afghanistan as old and continuous and never severed with the people and state of Afghanistan.
