Ruler of Qatar starts today a one- week African tour

The Qatari royal court announced Monday that the ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani will head today to the South Africa republic, marking an African tour which will also cover the republic of Cote De Voire, Geniea, Gambia, Niger and Mali.

The delegation accompanying the ruler of Qatar is composed of the ministers of finance, the minister of state for foreign affairs, the chairman of the Emir's divan and many other high ranking officials concerned.

The visit of the Qatari ruler who currently presides over the 9th Islamic summit To Pretoria will last for three days during which he will hold talks with the President of South Africa Thabu Mabiki, who's country currently presides over the current session of the Non- Aligned Movement countries, on current regional and international developments, foremost being the deteriorated conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and the implications of the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people.
