Sudan, Ethiopia sign four agreements

In conclusion of the talks held under the chairmanship of the two countries' foreign ministers, both Sudan and Ethiopia have signed four cooperation agreements that covered the areas of agriculture, livestock, culture and tourism.
Sudan's foreign minister Mustafa Othman Ismael talking about the final session of the 6th meeting of the joint Sudanese- Ethiopian ministerial committee announced Sudan's adherence to implement the signed agreements with Ethiopia and considered signing these agreements as an evidence on the care of the two countries to foster and bolster these relations.
The Sudanese foreign minister also expressed hope that relations between the two countries will be an example to be followed in the African area. He praised the efforts made by the border demarcation committee between the two countries and the progress it attained, noting that the committee has completely achieved its set mission.
On the other hand, the Ethiopian prime minister Meles Zenawi and the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir who will visit Ethiopia by the end of this month to take part in the COMSA meeting, will inaugurate the Sudanese- Ethiopian friendship highway on the joint borders on the kand road al-Qadarif, al-Qallabt- Qitdar which links the two countries.
