Arafat in Jenin

The chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat arrived in Jenin on Monday in the framework of a tour he made in the cities of the West Bank following lifting the siege imposed on it by the Israeli forces. After Jenin, Arafat will head for Nablus. The Israeli radio reported on Monday.
Earlier in the day, Arafat arrived in Bethlehem in the context of the first tour he had made in the cities of the West Bank after the Israeli forces lifted the siege imposed on him.
Palestinian sources said Arafat arrived in Bethlehem on board of a helicopter placed by Jordan at his disposal.
