Al-Assad gets a message from Karazai, reviews bilateral relations with Abdullah

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday in Damascus received Afghanistan's foreign minister Abdullah Abdullah and members of the accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by the deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara and the Afghani charge de affairs in Damascus Sheikh Abdullah Mohseni.
Al-Assad received a message conveyed by Abdullah from the chairman of the provisional administration in Afghanistan pertaining to the situation in Afghanistan and means of strengthening friendship and cooperation relations with various countries in the world especially with the neighboring and Islamic states.
Talks dealt with means of developing relations between the two countries. It was agreed to continue contacts between the two sides.
President al-Assad asked Abdullah to convey his greetings to Karazai.
