Al-Shara confers with Afghani counterpart

Syrian deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Sunday in Damascus received the Afghani foreign minister Abdullah Abdullah and members of the accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by the deputy foreign minister Suleiman Haddad and Afghanistan's charge de affairs in Damascus.
Discussions dealt with the developments of conditions in the region and international and regional developments especially conditions in Afghanistan.
In this regard, al-Shara expressed hope that stability and peace will prevail in Afghanistan after long years of conflicts and suffering the people of Afghanistan had.
Discussions also dealt with bilateral relations between Syria and Afghanistan and means of developing them in various fields.
