Iraq appreciates Belgian stand on sanctions

Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister Tareq Aziz has received Patrick Morio, Secretary of international relations in the Socialist Party, head of the Belgian delegation, which is currently participate in the 7th meeting of the follow up and Coordination Committee of Baghdad Conference. Aziz appreciated Belgian parliament's stand and role in issuing a decision calling for lifting sanctions.
Patrick affirmed the need of strengthening efforts in Belgian public opinion and Parliament to end Iraqis' suffering and lift the unjust sanctions, INA reported today.
