Moroccan, Portuguese businessmen probe partnership possibilities

Moroccan and Portuguese businessmen met in Casablanca Thursday to probe partnership possibilities and discuss Morocco's economic potentials.
The meeting aims to strike partnership deals and joint-venture agreements between the two countries' businessmen and industry operators.
Some twelve Portuguese enterprises operating in several branches of industry are taking part in this meeting.
The Portuguese government granted the Moroccan-Portuguese enterprises a 10 million Euro credit line to finance their purchase of Portuguese-made equipment, and another more important credit line is being prepared, a source at the Portuguese embassy said.
Morocco-Portugal exchanges are currently worth some 165 million Euro, and nearly 60 Portuguese companies hold shares in the capital of Moroccan groups.
