Arab 7th energy conference held today in Cairo

Arab Gulf oil sources stressed that the 7th Arab energy conference which will be convened today in Cairo under the title "Arab cooperation and energy" will be of great importance, noting in particular consultations to be held by several Arab oil ministers concerning developments taking place in the world oil markets especially the decision taken by Iraq to resume its oil exports after one month of freezing it.
The sources said that oil ministers in several of the participating states will hold consultation on the steps that should be taken at the next conference of OPEC which will be held on June 26 in Vienna in order to keep oil prices within the limit of 22- 28 USD per barrel.
The conference will also discuss energy consumption and guidance and its future in the Arab states as well as developments in the world economic markets. These include, among other things, the future vision of national companies in light of globalization inclination, merging of world oil companies and its impact on Arab petroleum industry.
