Omani- Yemeni agreement to demarcate sea borders

The minister of transport and communications in Oman Malik Bin Salman al-Ma'mari said that his country and Yemen agreed to complete sea border demarcation very soon and asked their ambassadors to make necessary contacts to this effect.

In a press statement, the Omani minister said that there is no remarks from the two sides concerning the sea borders after the two states have completed land border demarcation. A measure which was considered the turning point to demarcate sea borders, noting that the Yemeni sides asked to be acquainted with several agreements signed earlier between Oman with other countries in order to make use of them.
