Syrian, Saudi, Egyptian summit on developments, united Arab position
Regional, Politics, 5/11/2002

A Syrian, Saudi and Egyptian summit is expected to be held, including the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

Al-Assad had received a telephone call from President Mubarak on this summit.

Observers expect this tripartite summit to concentrate on developments in the occupied Arab territories, and the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

The three leaders will also review results of the visit to the USA held by the Saudi crown prince Abdullah and "means of revitalizing the Arab position and unmasking Zionist schemes and the movement at the international level."
