Israeli minister to visit Moscow

It was announced in Moscow on Friday that the Israeli minister of culture Mathan Filnan will pay a visit to Russia on May 13th.
The Russian news agency Inter-Fax said on Friday that among the topics Filnan to discuss during this visit with the Russian officials the Middle East question, noting that this is the first visit by an Israeli minister to Moscow following the recent grave incidents in the Palestinian territories.
The agency indicated that Filnan used to be the deputy army chief of staff in the government of Ehud Barak, the former Israeli prime minister.
