Al-Shara holds phone calls with Egyptian, Iranian peers

A telephone call was made between the Syrian deputy Premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara and the Egyptian counterpart Ahmad Maher during which discussions dealt with latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and the need of consolidating inter- Arab solidarity to stand in support of the Palestinian people against the continued Israeli aggression.
Another telephone call was also made between al-Shara and the Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharzi during which the two sides reviewed developments on the regional and international arenas and the importance of inter- islamic solidarity in support of the Palestinian people Intifada.
