OIC warns against Israeli practices
Regional-Palestine, Politics, 5/9/2002

The Islamic countries on Wednesday warned Israel against its continued occupation of the Palestinian territories, noting that constitutes a threat to the Islamic world.

A statement issued following meetings which lasted for three days by the Islamic affairs ministers at the Organization of the Islamic conference (OIC), said the Israeli expansionist plans constitute a threat to the Islamic world as a whole.

The statement urged all countries of the world and the UN organizations to double their efforts to force Israel to pullout its forces from the Palestinian territories.

The statement indicated that the unity of Muslims has become a must to eliminate their differences, stressing that the Palestinian issue should touch the soul and spirit of every Muslim considering himself part of Islam.
