Contacts between Maher, Hammoud and Solana

The Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher discussed in a telephone call he made on Wednesday with his Lebanese counterpart Mahmoud Hamoud "the developments of explosive conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories amid the brutal Israeli military escalation against the Palestinian people."

During the telephone conversations the two sides also discussed exerted Arab and international efforts to halt the continued Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people.

On the other hand, Maher received a telephone call from the higher representative of the security and foreign policy at the European Union Javier Solana during which latest developments concerning the deteriorated conditions in the Palestinian territories and total conditions in the Middle East and the European role to calm down these deteriorated conditions were reviewed.
