Al-Refai discuss with German delegation ME conditions

The chairman of the Jordanian al-Ayan council ( upper house ) discussed during his meeting on Wednesday with the German parliamentary delegation latest developments of conditions in the region, especially the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The two sides also discussed bilateral co-operation relations linking the two countries in various political, economic and parliamentary fields and means of supporting and strengthening them.
Al- Refai' called on Germany and the countries of the European Union to use their political and economic weight to salvage the ME peace process in the region which is collapsing as a result of Israel's escalation of its aggressive policy against the Palestinian people.
