International Human Rights federation holds seminar in Rabat
Regional, Culture, 5/9/2002
The international Human Rights Federation organizes a regional seminar on the theme "cultural diversity and human rights universality," in Rabat this May 9 through 12.
The seminar, to focus debates on discrimination against women, will be an occasion to present different cultural diversity experiences in the Mediterranean basin, say the three organizing associations (Morocco's OMDH and AMDH) and the international federation.
Participants will receive training in national, regional and international norms and mechanisms of cultural rights protection, a release said.
The seminar will bring together cultural diversity experts from the two shores of the Mediterranean as well as human rights advocates from the region.
