Arab industry, mining development organization holds 17th session in Riyadh

The Rabat-based Arab Organization of Industry and Mining Development will hold its 17th session in Saudi capital, Riyadh, May 11 through 15, with the participation of Arab ministers of industry.
The ministerial council will examine two reports on the organization's activities and follow-up of decisions adopted by the 16th session, the organization says in a release.
The ministers will also probe the creation of an Arab fund for industrial technologies promotion, and means to back research centers operating in the field, as well as the organization's budget for 2003-2004.
