Arab Travel market opened in Abu Dhabi

Activities of the 9th session of the exhibition of the Arab Travel market ( 2002) which is organized by "Red Travel company" started on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi with the participation of 700 companies from 56 Arab and foreign countries including Syria.
This market which will last for three days will contribute to strengthening inter- Arab tourism movement, exchanging expertise and ideas and to be acquainted with exhibits and products and finalizing deals among the bidders.
Reports of the world travel and trade council said that the investments of the tourism and travel sector in the Middle East will reach USD 11.3 billion for this year and is expected to achieve economic revenues of USD 95.1 billion to be increased to USD 180.7 billion by 2010.
