King Abdullah to meet with President Bush today
Jordan-USA, Politics, 5/8/2002
The Jordanian King Abdullah II on Tuesday warned that the danger of the Arab citizens will blow off at its highest levels if no hope will surface to finding a future vision to the conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories during the two next weeks.
In an interview to the US CNN TV, the Jordanian King called on the international community to move rapidly to find a final solution to the Palestinian- Israeli conflict, stressing that the feelings of anger, frustration and repression exist in Arab citizens despite the small recession of such feelings during the tour held by the US secretary of State Collin Powell to the region.
King Abdullah said that there is a need to concentrate on reaching an agreement concerning the future Palestinian state and what he called the security of Israel within a reasonable time after which agreements will be reached on issues relating to borders and refugees.
On Monday King Abdullah met with Powell at the US state department and will meet today ( Wednesday) with the US President George Bush in order to discuss the bottleneck peace reached in the peace efforts in the Middle East.
