Saudi crown prince moves towards Hamas, Islamic Jihad to give up suicide operations
Saudi Arabia-Palestine, Politics, 5/8/2002

The London- based al-Quds daily issued on Tuesday said that the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz made contacts with the leaderships of both Hamas and the Islamic Jihad movements in order to force them to give up "suicide operations."

The Israeli radio on Tuesday quoted the paper as saying that there is a joint Egyptian, Saudi and Jordanian move at an American coordination aiming at pressuring the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat to halt the Intifada and introduce fundamental reforms into the Palestinian authority.
