Sharon rejects the foundation of the Palestinian state
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 5/8/2002
The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon has renewed his rejection for the establishment of the Palestinian state.
The spokesman for Sharon, currently visiting the US, according to the Israeli Hebrew- language radio, said that Israel will not agree to the foundation of a Palestinian state and that the final decision to this effect will not be discussed before the suspension of acts and activities of the Palestinian resistance, ultimately as well as a complete change in the composition of the Palestinian Authority and changing the leadership of the Palestinian authority fundamentally in a way different to what things have been now.
