German Isotron company amis for 1/3 of its sales from Morocco

German company "Isotron," specializing in industrial electricity and the new information technologies, is projecting to conduct in 2002 sales of 200 million Dirhams (US$ 17.3 million) in Morocco out of a total of 500 million DH.
In an interview with "L'Economiste" daily published this Monday, Isotron general manager said Morocco represents an ideal platform for the development of the group activities in the north African region, mainly for the marketing of the information and communication technologies.
The company was bought last October by German group "Babcok Borsig."
He went on that the Moroccan market has a strong potential in the new information and communication technologies and that Isotron will invest in 11 new state-of-the-art call centers. He further explained that the enterprise will recruit local human resources and focus on disabled persons' integartion.
