Morocco's El Aynaoui grabs Munich tennis tournament

Morocco's Younes El Aynaoui on Sunday grabbed the Munich tennis tournament, an ATP clay event endowed with a US$ 381,000 cash prize.
El Aynaoui, 6th seeded and semi-finalist in last year's Munich event, dominated German Rainer Schuettler (6-4, 6-4), in the fifth meeting between the two. El Aynaoui beat 20th seeded Schuettler four times.
El Aynaoui who gains 35 points on the ATP ranking and jumps to the sixth rank, has secured his fifth title in his career and his third in the present season.
He also captured last month's Casablanca claycourt crown and opened his 2002 campaign by winning the Doha hardcourt title.
On his way to the finals, El Aynaoui cruised past Russia's Mickail Youzhny, Byelorussia's Max Mirnyi, Czech Bohdan Ulihrach and French Julien Butter.
