Oreikat and Sharon's report
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 5/7/2002

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Oreikat on Monday described the report the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon intends to submit today to the US President George Bush against the chairman of the Palestinian Authority as fabricated and full of lies.

Israel is making claims that Arafat supported Palestinians in their armed struggle against occupation.

Oreikat told reporters that at the time when Sharon provides a false file to President Bush "we would like by our side real documents carrying bodies of Palestinians torn by the Israeli bullets especially Fatemah Muhammad Zakarenah ( 30 year old) and her two children Basem (4 years old) and Abeer (3 years old) from Jenin and the corpse of the Palestinian child ( Samer Abu Thurayya ) from Toulkarem."

Oreikat continued that "these Palestinian bodies which were torn by the Israeli bullets, reflecting the Israeli terrorism and the Israeli war crimes, are but a real document and a real story to what is taking place on the ground and not forged documents."

Oreikat stressed that "the Palestinians have been exposed to war crimes, massacres and terrorism by Israel every day and every hour."
