Mubarak keen on closing ranks of Arab nation

Egyptian Minister of Information Safwat Al-Sherif said that since President Hosni Mubarak assumed the presidency, he has been keen to close the ranks of the Arab nation. His motto has been: the strength of Egypt is enhanced by the strength of the Arabs and the strength of the Arabs is boosted by the strength of Egypt.
In statements to the "Sawt AL-Arab" radio broadcast Saturday, the Minister of Information said that President Mubarak always places national issues above all considerations.
