Syrian decrees on real estates, fodder, accord with Yemen

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad has issued the legislative decree no 24 for 2002. It provides for extending by one year the validity of the financial assessment for mortgage used for real estates and those governed by rules of paragraph one of Article one of the 1970 Legislative Decree No. 187. The extension starts as of 1.2. 2002 and ends by 31- 12.2002.

On the other hand, President al-Assad issued decree no. 134 for 2002 provides for amending Article two of the 1974 Decree no. 390 which included the foundation of the Fodder General Establishment. According to the amendment, the main center of the establishment will be in Damascus instead of Raqqa.

President al-Assad also issued decree no. 135 which provides for ratifying the cooperation agreement on averting customs contravention and combating them earlier cosigned by Syria and Yemen.
