Iraq restores back stolen artifacts

Iraq on Sunday restored back two ancient monuments stolen 10 years ago to England, from Iraq.
The chairman of the general commission for antiquities and heritage in Iraq Jaber Khalil Ibrahim said that the commission's department in collaboration with the Iraqi foreign ministry are exerting tremendous efforts and continued follow up to restore back stolen Iraqi antiquities from various parts of the world.
The Iraqi authorities, through the British courts, were able restore back two stone curved paintings and were sent back to Baghdad to be given to the general commission for antiquities and heritage.
