Saudi crown prince to visit Egypt shortly

The Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz announced on Thursday he will be visiting Egypt in the coming phase.
This was expressed by the Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher who also indicated that during this visit which was not fixed yet, discussions will deal with latest developments and the result of the recent visit made by the Saudi crown prince by the end of April to the USA.
On the other hand, Maher sent a message to the US secretary of state Colin Powell. The message was handed over during the meeting held by Maher and the US ambassador in Cairo David Welsh. Following the meeting, the American ambassador said that he had discussed with the Egyptian foreign minister the developments in the region especially in the Palestinian arenas. The American ambassador added that Egypt and the US are making utmost efforts to achieve a progress in the situation on the ground of what was agreed upon. He stressed that the aim now is to attempt to move for a political negotiations operation that brings in hopes for all sides concerned.
