Peace initiative committee meets next week

The Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hammoud said that a meeting for the Arab peace initiative will be held in the mid of next week in Cairo in order to listen to the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal on the result of talks the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz held in Washington.
In statements to the press on Thursday in Beirut, Hammoud indicated he held telephone consultation with minister al-Faisal on this matter after statements were made on a plan for an international peace conference on the ME region.
