Jordanian sources warn against illegal Israeli practices
Jordan-Israel, Economics, 5/3/2002
Jordanian sources have warned against operations of selling Jordanian land and real estate carried out through the Israeli embassy in Amman by a lawyer from Israel who document the selling process.
In a statement to the Jordanian weekly al-Bilad issued on Wednesday, the sources called on the government to put an end to what the Israeli embassy does with the full knowledge of the official sides without objecting to such practices nor punishing the names of the Jordanian real estates middle-men who facilitate the selling operations.
The weekly also said that just recently a sort of "husbandry goats" was imported from Israel for marketing and breeding in and outside Jordan and that one of the farms was established in the central area of the Jordanian valley (al-Ghour) for this purpose.
The sources said that one Israeli investor has become a partner in a wine factory and bought half of it on the ground the wines will be exported to Israel as its price are cheaper than Israeli wines.
