Fahmy stressed the need for a permanent settlement

Egypt's Ambassador to the United States Nabil Fahmy underlined the importance of reaching a full dressed and permanent settlement in order to break the deadlock between Palestinian and Israelis. He said the current stage requires a clear-cut definition on whether the option is peace or surrendering to violence.
Meantime, Hassan Abdel Rahman, the PNA representative in US said the restoration of East Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza territories to the Palestinian sovereignty is a must for a forthcoming settlement.
