Maher for eliminating abnormal conditions in the Palestinian territories

Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher has stressed his country's support for the measures aiming at ending the abnormal conditions imposed on the Palestinian people in the occupied territories.
In a statement he made in Cairo on Tuesday, he said that lifting the siege imposed on the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat should not be the ultimate end, rather a step into correcting the grave and deadly mistakes committed by Israel against the Palestinians.
