Six persons die in a fire in Somalia

The local police has announced that 6 persons were killed and other 20 wounded on Monday evening when a fire that took place in the main market in the Somali capital, Makadishu.
Most of the persons were killed by the bullets of the market's guards who were trying to prevent armed gangs from stealing the content of Bakara market, the largest in Somalia.
An official in the Somali police said that the reason behind the fire has not known yet.
The source added that the provisional national government which controls the area where the fire erupted sent 500 policemen to the site in order to prevent acts of stealing. The police asked the guards not to open fire randomly because it was difficult to make a distinction between the thieves and the traders who were trying to rescue their commodities.
