Meetings of Saudi- Yemeni coordination council

Meetings of the preliminary committee of the Saudi- Yemeni coordination council start today in Jeddah, for the council's 14th session due to be held in June in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi side to the meetings is headed by the charge de affairs of the special committee at the Saudi Cabinet Adnan Muhammad Bakhash, while the Yemeni side is attended by the deputy minister of planning and development Abdul Rahman Tarmoum.

The meetings will last for two days. However, the Saudi- Yemeni coordination council, since the resumption of its activities two years ago in its 12nd and 13th sessions achieved several agreements and decisions that serve the interests of cooperation relations between the two countries.

The Saudi minister of defense prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz preside over the Saudi side at the council while the Yemeni side is represented by the Yemeni prime minister Abdul Qader Bajmal.
