Arafat got two telephone calls

The chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat on Monday received two telephone calls from the Jordanian King Abdullah and from the Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher dealt with the grave conditions in the Palestinian territories as a result of the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinians.
The Palestinian news agency quoted a Palestinian official source as saying that during the telephone call the two sides discussed the grave conditions in the Palestinian territories and Arab and international efforts made to end the Israeli occupation and besiege of lands.
