Syrian boycott campaign of American merchandise

The Lebanese daily Assafir issued on Monday said that the campaign of boycotting American made merchandise has started to be expanded in Syria.
The paper said that after the owner of a renowned restaurant in Bab Houma in Damascus expelled the American consul from her restaurant in protest of his country's policy pursued in the region and after the spread of banners calling for boycotting the American products in the Syrian streets.
Another Syrian restaurant in Damascus announced not only boycotting the American commodities but also the Americans where "Mango restaurant" , situated in the al-Malice area (a luxurious quarters in Damascus), has put a banner on the front of the restaurant saying in English "the Americans are not permitted in."
