Powell telephones Peres

The Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres has reiterated his government's rejection to deal with the UN team on fact finding concerning the acts of aggression committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin camp.
The Israeli radio said that this rejection was expressed during a telephone call held on Sunday evening between Peres and the US secretary of state Colin Powell. Peres said that his government will not permit members of the UN inspection team to listen to witnesses from members of the Israeli army, as the UN team wants.
