Sudan, Uganda for resuming full diplomatic relations

Uganda and Sudan on Saturday decided to resume their full diplomatic relations after these were severed in 1995 together with appointing ambassadors instead of charge de affairs currently existing in Khartoum and Kampala.
The Ugandan minister of state for foreign affairs said that during the meeting held between the Sudanese foreign minister Mustafa Ismael and his Ugandan counterpart it was agreed to " follow up bilateral cooperation and raise the level of diplomatic representation to the highest level, which means to the ambassadorial level."
