Blair voices support for the Arab peace initiative

British Prime minister Tony Blair expressed his country's support for the Arab peace initiative which was launched at the recent Beirut's Arab summit.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Anbaa issued on Sunday, Blair stressed that the inspired solution in the Middle East will only be attained through resuming peace negotiations, stressing the foundations of the independent Palestinian state. Blair also expressed his understanding for the deep anger reflected within the Palestinians as a result of the Israeli aggression against them.
The British prime minister also called on all sides concerned to intensify their efforts in order to achieve peace in the Middle East according to principles adopted by the recent Beirut's Arab summit.
