Al-Khurafi opens 7th meeting for OIC councils

The chairman of the Kuwaiti Ummah (nation) council Jasem al-Khurafi has called for the need of "exerting all efforts to challenge the fierce onslaught hatched against the Arab nation."
On the inauguration of the 7th meeting of the executive committee of the federation of the council of member states in the Organization of the Islamic Conference which started deliberations on Sunday in Kuwait, al-Khurafi spoke of "the catastrophic situation the Palestinians suffer as a result of Israel launching of a barbarous war against them." Al-Khurafi called on "the international community and all peace loving countries to interfere immediately and work for the withdrawal of the Israeli forces from the Palestinian villages and cities."
For his part, the speaker of the Moroccan parliament Abdul Wahid al-Radi who is the chairman of the current station of the federation of the councils of the OIC member states denounced the Israeli occupation policy and its violations of all international resolutions concerned.
Al- Radi stressed that this meeting will take stances needed by the current conditions in support of the Palestinian people and their just struggle to restore usurped rights.
