Algeria's international bicycle race

Competitions of the third Algerian international race for bicycle will start today with participation from Arab states.
These competitions which will last for one week for a distance of 1000 Km for 77 bicycles including seven from Syria will be held according to seven phases covering the provinces of the center of Southern Algeria which are al- Jafla, al-Aghwat, Gherdaya, Raqla, Toghourt, al-Wad and Beikara.
The chairman of the Alegrian federation for bicycles Naser al-Nueimi said that the aim of this race is to reactivate this sport in the said provinces and its tourism movement as well as to acquaint "our Arab brothers" with the most important Algerian desert tourist cities and their historical monuments.
