Arab states to devise an action plan regarding children
Regional, Culture, 4/26/2002
The commission, which wound up a four-day meeting in Damascus on Thursday, recommended Arab states to coordinate action during the coming special session of the U.N. General Assembly on children, to be held in New York in May.
The Arab states have to devise a global action plan regarding children and to submit it to the coming high level Arab congress to be held this year in Tunisia, said one of the recommendations.
Meantime, The Arab Advisory Commission on Children has called on the Arab states to ensure an international protection for Palestinian children, vulnerable to Israeli aggressions.
